Turning off Myostatin or How to remove the barrier for muscle growth

SheldorScientists have been studying a discovery they made while trying to find treatments for muscle wasting diseases that allow them to turn off Myostatin at the cellular level. Myostatin is a protein that limits the size an animal can become. Do you have any friends that are naturally twice your size growing up because they had Popeye forearms while you walked around with girly arms?! Well, they naturally produce less myostatin and this is one of the genetic factors that help some people become pro bodybuilders while the rest of us have a hard time looking like an athlete. While this is still in the animal testing stages it is likely that treatments of this type that affect myostatin levels will become plentiful over the next two decades and longer. Imagine taking one injection to turn off the growth limiter for the rest of your life!
